We Believe:

  1. The Bible is the divinely inspired and only infallible Word of God. “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine in righteousness; That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”: 2 Timothy 3:16,17    xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
  2. The only means of salvation and remission of sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ. “That if thou shall confess with your moth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.” Romans 10:9  xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
  3. That there is one God, eternally existent in three persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.  “And Jesus (the Son), when He was baptized went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto Him, and He saw the Spirit of God (Holy Spirit) descending like a dove, and lighting up on Him: and lo a voice from heaven (the Father) saying, ‘This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.’” Matthew 3:16,17   xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
  4. The virgin birth of Jesus.  “Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign; Behold a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call His name Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14.  “Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 1:8                                                                xxxxxxxxxxxx
  5. The deity of the Lord Jesus Christ.  “In the beginning was the Word (Jesus), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God...And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us. (as we beheld His glory, the glory of the only begotten of the Father), full of grace and truth.” John 1:1,14
  6. Christians are the Church.  “What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which you have of God, and you are not your own?” 1 Corinthians 6:19.  “Now therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; and are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone; in whom all the building fitly framed together grows into a holy temple in the Lord.”: Ephesians 2:19/21
  7. Water baptism is a personal expression of an identification with Jesus Christ.  “Peter said unto them, ‘Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ….’” Acts 2:38
